Alesso and Ryan Tedder Ignite Excitement with Teased Sequel to Iconic ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’

In a thrilling development for electronic dance music enthusiasts, Swedish DJ Alesso and OneRepublic’s frontman Ryan Tedder have hinted at a follow-up to their legendary 2012 track, “Calling (Lose My Mind).” The duo recently shared a video from a joint studio session, which rapidly gained viral traction across social media platforms, sparking widespread anticipation for a new collaboration.

“Calling (Lose My Mind),” a collaboration between Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Ryan Tedder, was a defining anthem of its era, topping Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs chart and securing top-ten positions in countries like Australia and the UK.  The track’s euphoric progressive house melodies and Tedder’s soaring vocals became emblematic of the early 2010s dance music scene.

The recent studio footage has reignited excitement among fans, with Tedder remarking that their reunion is “long overdue.”  This teaser comes just before the 13th anniversary of “Calling (Lose My Mind),” adding a nostalgic layer to the anticipation.

Beyond “Calling,” Alesso and Tedder have a history of successful collaborations. Alesso’s remix of OneRepublic’s “If I Lose Myself” in 2013 transformed the original into a dancefloor favorite, while their 2015 track “Scars” further showcased their synergistic musical chemistry.

As the electronic music community eagerly awaits more details, the prospect of a new Alesso-Tedder collaboration promises to deliver another memorable addition to their impressive repertoire.
